Co Founder & Company Director
Matt's journey in community services began in 2000, supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and complex support needs. Over the years, he developed a deep passion for helping people maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
In 2024, after many conversations about the future of disability and aged care services, Matt and his son Barclay established Make A Difference Services in Melbourne. Having worked across the care sector, they shared a vision of creating a service that genuinely puts people first.
As a family-owned and operated business, we understand the importance of trust, reliability, and treating every client as we would our own family. Our focus is not only on delivering exceptional support to NDIS participants and Aged Care Clients, but also on creating a workplace where staff feel valued, respected, and heard.
We believe that when staff are supported, clients receive better care. By building strong relationships with both our clients and our team, we provide the consistent, compassionate support that makes a genuine difference in people's lives.

Co Founder & Operations Manager
Barclay has extensive experience within the NDIS and disability support sector, beginning his career as a Support Worker before progressing into leadership roles including Team Leader and House Manager. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with and managed some of the highest complex behaviour participants across NSW, supporting individuals with challenging behaviours, mental health needs, forensic backgrounds, and high-intensity support requirements.
Barclay is known for his calm and hands-on leadership style, strong understanding of behaviour support, and ability to build positive relationships with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams. His experience managing complex homes and leading support staff has given him a strong foundation in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while creating safe and supportive environments for both participants and workers.
